Our Story

Glascock Floors, Inc. is a proud, family-owned, and operated business that has been serving the flooring needs of Indianola and surrounding communities since 1959. Founded by Lloyd Glascock, the company started as a construction business before Lloyd transitioned to his true passion—flooring. Over the decades, Glascock Floors has grown into a third-generation company, now run by Lloyd’s grandson, Ben, who continues the legacy of providing exceptional, high-quality flooring services.

The journey of Glascock Floors began with Lloyd’s deep commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. He laid the foundation of the company with a focus on delivering reliable and honest work. Lloyd’s son, David, joined the business while still in high school, working during weekends and summer breaks to learn the trade firsthand. After graduating in 1978, David fully immersed himself in the family business, bringing energy and dedication to every project. In 1994, upon Lloyd’s retirement, David took over the day-to-day operations and management of the company, ensuring the high standards set by his father were upheld. His hard work and commitment to the craft earned him part ownership of Glascock Floors in 2014.

In 2016, David’s son, Ben, representing the third generation, became a co-owner alongside his grandmother, Jeanenne Glascock, after the passing of his grandfather and father. Ben’s passion for the family business led him to take full ownership in 2019, carrying on the family tradition. Today, Ben continues to operate Glascock Floors with the same values his grandfather and father instilled—honesty, quality, and a personal touch.

Their services include residential and commercial flooring installations, historic flooring restoration, custom flooring designs, and refinishing. They are also experts in gymnasium floor installations, bringing a unique set of skills to large-scale projects. We're looking to grow our team and are currently hiring flooring installation specialists. Must be able to install, sand, and finish hardwood floors. Experience required, 10+ years of construction and installation experience preferred.
